The award-winning, iconic designer Light Soy lamp adds a drop of joy to any space. Designed to highlight the big impact of single-use plastic and make a real difference.
Light Soy is made with recycled ocean-bound plastic and funds plastic cleanups in the places that need it most. To date Heliograf has prevented over 30 tons of plastic from causing harm in the ocean.
The lamp’s clever features and sustainable design system, including compostable packaging, make it a perfect gift or addition to any cosy space.
Designed in Sydney, Australia and made with care in Shenzhen, China.
We live by the ocean and have seen first-hand the terrible impact that plastic is having on our environment. We set out to shine a light on the issue with plastic pollution, and take action that will clean up our world.
We've been honoured with coverage in publications like The New Yorker, Dezeen, Apartment Therapy, Architectural Digest, Vogue and the Australian Financial Review, and won a Gold Good Design award in 2020.

The lamp making a real difference for the oceans. Light Soy’s shade is made with 75% ocean-bound plastic, cleaned up at the source of ocean pollution.

Funding cleanups
For each Light Soy lamp we fund an extra cleanup of 2 kilograms of plastic. To date we've cleaned up over 30,000kgs of plastic.
