The award-winning, iconic designer Light Soy lamp adds a drop of joy to any space. Designed to highlight the big impact of single-use plastic and make a real difference.
Light Soy is made with recycled ocean-bound plastic and funds plastic cleanups in the places that need it most. To date Heliograf has prevented over 30 tons of plastic from causing harm in the ocean.
The lamp’s clever features and sustainable design system, including compostable packaging, make it a perfect gift or addition to any cosy space.
Designed in Sydney, Australia and made with care in Shenzhen, China.
We live by the ocean and have seen first-hand the terrible impact that plastic is having on our environment. We set out to shine a light on the issue with plastic pollution, and take action that will clean up our world.

A bright idea
We live in coastal Australia and see the impact of plastic on the ocean every day. We designed Light Soy to highlight the big impact of small single-use plastics, inspire change and fund solutions to our global plastic problem.
Stopping ocean plastic at the ‘sauce’
We're making a real difference for the oceans. Light Soy’s shade is made with 75% ocean-bound plastic, cleaned up at the main source of ocean pollution.
Funding cleanups
For each & every lamp shipped we fund a cleanup of 2 kilograms of plastic in regions that contribute most to ocean plastic. To date we’ve funded over 30,000kg of plastic, equivalent to 30 million soy packets.
Design for Good
We believe we can solve our global waste problem through excellent design & clever materials. Light Soy's award-winning design is made to last, with repairable & recyclable parts.
Plastic-Free Packaging
Light Soy is packed in low-impact packaging that’s completely home compostable. The inner packaging is made from reclaimed sugarcane pulp.
